Making Good Use of Those Solar Rays

The weather has been nice enough that we could hang the wash on the line.
What a pleasant sight after work and being indoors all day. My family used the sun to dry our clothes.

So, I'm in my bathrobe because I am tired after a long day, and you can walk around like that when you live in the country; nobody can see and nobody cares and lots of us do it. I have heard that people in the city go to the store in their pajamas. I am apposed to that one, but I digress. I am not too tired to be out here in my back yard in the glorious spring air near the end of this day.  Aah, the scent of fresh air-dried clothes. The laundry is a bit stiff and rough compared to the dryer, but I like that. It reminds me of my mother-in-law, Vivian. She never wasted a sunny day, but she would put those free solar rays to good use.

~ A fitting Scripture from the Bible will accompany each post.

"So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourself with Christ."  Galatians 3:26-27

~ Blessings, Kathi

Oh I love the scent and feel of line dried laundry. Where I live, you are not permitted to put up a clothes line. I miss it! Enjoy the sunshine!

I don't even own a clothes dryer and haven't for the last 30 years so I always dry my clothes outside on the line. Days that I can't, I have drying clothes rack inside. I put it over a heating vent!
I love the smell!!
