I worked another ten-hour day today. I am so thankful for a healthy body that God gave me. I am able to work. I am so thankful for a job that the Lord has given me. I get to work with people who I really care for. Each day is a blessing. I love being able to lift items that are not too heavy, but yet allow me to build and keep my muscle. I push and pull, lift and carry, stack and collect all day. I love my students who work with me and I enjoy the activity. We are slower than we have ever been, but this too shall pass. I have faith that God is watching and knows everything. He even knows the "what ifs."
Today was a good day. I went outside and walked around campus for all of my breaks and my lunch. There are gorgeous floral bushes on every pathway. I sat and enjoyed the sun and the bumble bees near me. I know that God will take care of all of us. We need to trust Him. The only way to believe and to have faith is to read His Word the Bible, and to ask Him to help us understand it. ASK. Oh, and in case you are wondering. I am a dish washer and I supervise hundreds of students at a large university. God bless you dear friends.
~ A fitting Scripture from the Bible will accompany each post. ~
"Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram.... He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy." 2 Kings 5:1
"So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan River seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored. It became clean like that of a young boy. Then Naaman and all of his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said, 'Now I know, there is no God in all the world except in Israel'..." 2 Kings 5:15
Blessings, Kathi

Nice to hear how much you enjoy your job and are thankful for it. Many people don't!
I actually enjoy washing dishes and don't even have a dish washer. : )
