Vintage Cook Books

This is just a teaser. I have many more cookbooks to share with you since this photo was taken.
My sister Sharon and I both collect cookbooks from the 1950's and early 1960's. We find them at garage sales and thrift shops.
I just love looking through these 1940 and 1950 cookbooks. This photos came from my mother-in-law's Home-EC. book. I love that it mentions that the girl should have her hair properly fastened and she should take her job more seriously. I am having a very busy week getting ready for Christmas, and I know you are just as busy. I will post my vintage cookbook collection as I find the time to get to the computer.
