I appreciate the contents and the words Stormie uses to help me pray. I still have a young one at home. He is twelve. He needs my prayers ever so much. Recently, I've felt discouraged over small issues within our family. I feel assurance and reliance upon God through the day after spending time in prayer.
Of course I know how to pray and could pray without this book, but I find it so handy and practical that I am recommending it to you. There are topics that I had not thought of to pray over my children.
One of my children is tired quite often, lacking in energy. I began fretting this morning until I found this chapter again. I will take this child to see the doctor, but I stopped fearing immediately after praying early this morning. I will let you know how it goes. God is so good and so faithful. Joy comes from time in prayer. It's never too late to start praying for your children.
"Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name. I will confess and praise You, O Lord my God, with my whole (united) heart; and I will glorify Your name forevermore." Psalm 86:11-12
