Pretty Pillow Case

I got a late start today for Show and Tell Friday. The weather turned out to be really hot for this time of year in the country. I had to get out to my garden and water everything, especially some nasturtium seeds I planted a day ago. So, today, I am sharing this lovely flannel pillow case I made a while back. During this quarantine I have been able to make several to be put away for birthdays and Christmas. They can be made with one yard of fabric and a touch of ribbon for trim. These are one of my favorite sewing crafts to make for gifts.

~ A fitting Scripture from the Bible will accompany each post. ~

"...all the widows stood around him crying, showing him all the robes and other clothing Tabitha had made while she was still with them. Peter sent them all out of the room. He got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman he said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up." Acts 9:39-40

  Blessings, Kathi

We've had record LOW temperatures here in Pennsylvania. Yesterday, it snowed!
Right now, at almost 6:30 AM, it's 28 degrees. Brrr.

I love to make pillow cases. My grandkids always have special requests when they come to spend the night. They do make good gifts, don't they?

Happy Mother's Day!
