I was ecstatic today! My Daughters and I cautiously ventured out this morning. We were allowed entry into a few selected thrift stores today. Yes, we stayed six feet apart and paid betwixt transparent acrylic plastic.
Did I think about the virus the whole time I was shopping? Well, kinda. It's hard not to when blue arrows along the floor usher me this way and that, and face masks are the rule. But, I'm a bird out of a cage, fluttering and flapping all over the place with joy and excitement. Yet, I realize this is not normal. Should I be afraid? No. Should I be careful? Yes. I thank God for this special day out, and yes, I prayed for safety. Yes, I used hand sanitizer, and yes, I bought the size 1 knitting needles for 99 cents a pair, so that I can maybe learn to knit striped socks and fuzzy baby booties.
~ A fitting Scripture from the Bible will accompany each post. ~
"For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6
Blessings, Kathi

Hi Kathi,
Thanks for visiting my blog recently. I remember you from your blog a few years back and am glad to see you are back to blogging. I'm glad you were able to get to the thrift shop even in these strange times we are in. I really miss thrift shopping.
Oh Kathi, it's so great to "hear' you posting again. I truly miss you and Sharon's posts. I hope all is well and will continue to be so. Please don't disappear again. Give my best to Sharon!
