We live in a very blessed nation. I'm so thankful for all that we have and all that we can do here. Most of all I'm thankful for freedom. One small example of this freedom is for an unknown person to start a little independent record company out of his garage and call it A and M Records. Herb Alpert of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass produced his first song "Lonely Bull," and gave it to radio stations. In about six weeks it was a hit on the charts. His friend Jerry Moss is the M in A and M Records. Together they became the largest independent record label during the 1960's. This kind of success is available to people in our great nation.![]()
