Our son Harrison called us at 1:00 am to let us know he was safe and having the time of his life pulling off the best senior prank ever. We gave the okay, since he promised us there would be no damage to property and no illegal stuff. He also mentioned that a teacher was helping them. Harrison had such enthusiasm in his voice, how could we say no? So here is what they did:
Together, all 70 of these senior pranksters flooded the main courtyard at school and made a lake out of it.
I thought it was funny that a few guys acted like lifeguards in the ankle deep water.
They brought in a raft and ferried kids across. These guys tricked this girl and pulled her into the path of spraying water.
The principal said she wanted to talk with Harrison about this.
She pretended to be mad at him and then told him it was the best senior prank in the history of the school.
I believe if your teens have been proven to be trustworthy and honest, that they should be allowed to have good clean fun like this. Harrison has shown this to us in so many ways. I'm so glad he had the time of his life the last week of school with a bunch of his buddies. I'm glad we said yes to his request and it turned out to be so much fun for everyone. We love you Harrison!
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth...
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!..He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’ And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”. John chapter one selected verses.

Hi Kathi,
I'm so glad to see that you are blogging once again.
This looks like such a fun way for the kids to end their senior year. How great that the principal was also a good sport.
What a great prank- and you are so right about trusting them as much as they give you reason to.
A+ parenting shows all over your kids.
This is hilarious! I love it!!!!
