Hope

Do you ever feel like you could use an extra measure of hope? We are on this earth which is full of problems. We are either in the middle of a problem, just recovering from one or about to enter a new one. This world is wired to have difficulty and trials. According to the Bible these problems build the faith of the Christian who turns to the Lord and believes Him for the answer. There is HOPE for us. I am beginning a new Bible study. The Scriptures are showing me many things that I had overlooked, which opens my eyes to see wonderful things. God gives me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation causing His Word to leap from the pages and into my heart. Through this study I've seen how Lot was rescued from captivity; he and all his possessions were brought back by Abram and 318 of his trained men. They, "...recovered all the goods, his relative Lot, and the women and other people." Genesis 14:16. ALL was restored back to Lot. Through the blessing of God ALL can be recovered in your life too. Let's not forget this. When we have a problem or trial that seems so big that there is no way out, then it's time to look to the ONE who created all things and say, "Lord, You brought me to this point. I don't know what to do. I will throw the responsibility onto You now to get me out of this bondage, this captivity. Rescue me Lord." Wait on the Lord. He will provide. He is faithful. Romans 8:31 "God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:28 says "All things work together for good, to them that love God." Trials are not fun. They are difficult. I hate problems, but I am learning to turn to the Lord as King David did and say, "For the King trusts in the Lord; through the unfailing love of The MOST HIGH God, he will not be shaken." Psalm 21:7 May God bless you dear blogging friends, today, and give you HOPE if you need it. KATHI

Hi Shar, Actually everything is wonderful in my life right now. I guess you could say I am in the stage of being out of a problem, and might have to be going into one in the near future. Not that I want that, No. No. It's just kind of the way it is, and I do want to rejoice knowing God is always with me and will never leave me, especially through a trial. Love you, Kathi

We all need hope, I went through the same scriptures last year, studying Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy. My husband and I were involved in Bible Study Fellowship for 7 years and that was the last study we did.
Life wasn't easy for these patriarchs, and it isn't easy for us. Thank the Lord for hope in Jesus Christ.
I constantly need the Lord and the hope he gives.
I pray you will continually be blessed by the study of Gods word.

I know you wanted this to be more of a family blog but I just can't stay away and this post is why. you really and truly do inspire me and remind me of what matters most. I'll never look at those "hope" signs the same way again. Thanks for the insight. Me
