Worship and Praise Sunday: Jesus Is Alive

Matthew 28:2 "Early on the third day, the first morning of the week, there was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord had come down from heaven and gone to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat upon it."
"The angel's appearance was like lightning and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so frightened of him that they became like dead men. " Matthew 28:3 Early in the morning the women brought spices they had prepared to anoint Jesus body. On their way to the tomb, "...they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?" Mark 16:3 When the women looked up they they saw that the stone had been rolled away. They talked with the angel who told them, "You are looking for Jesus, the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen. go tell His disciples and Peter." Mark 16: 6
JESUS IS ALIVE! "A week later His disciples were in the house and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, 'Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.' Thomas said, 'My Lord and my God.' Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." On another occasion Jesus spoke with His disciples. He said to them, " You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses... Then He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight." Acts 1:8-9 An angel came and spoke with them he said, "This same Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven." Acts 1:11. I'm so thankful Jesus is alive. Happy Easter. I'm participating in "Worship and Praise Sunday" this week at Jen's . I've chosen the song playing right now by Wendy and Mary called, "The Wind Came Singing." I have always loved this song. Have a wonderful Easter and please visit by clicking on her name.
