I Live In Paradise in the Spring and Summer

Us Oregonians endure lots of gray clouds and rain, but when the sun comes out it is paradise. The sky is blue, grass is green, and flowers are every color. Our family sat on a blanket yesterday morning near our creek. The birds were chirping and the frogs were leaping in and out of the creek as we enjoyed the feel of sunshine on our skin. I hope you are enjoying this springtime weather where you live. "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth" Psalm 100:1

We have lots of rain and grey clouds too here in Ohio. For us our early spring is still very cold and wet and grey. But late spring, summer, and early fall we have it great! It is good to focus on the blessings, yes? Have a great day!

Kathi, I think Oregon has got to have the bluest skies ever...just beautiful!

I love the song that's playing on your playlist right now (Revelation Song). We sang it in church just yesterday.

I hear you on that one! I wore flip flops yesterday too! It was great seeing you guys at Kelli's! Thank you so much Kathi, from the bottom of my heart, that you came and rescued me! You cheered me up and inspired me. Thank you so much dear sister! I love you so much!

Love, Sharon

What a beautiful photo, Kathi! I totally agree. I lament to Ed all the time about how PA is so much "stinky" weather for so much of the year, but the spring and summer more than make of for it. I love it warm and sunny, but I don't think that I'd appreciate it as much or feel so revitalized by it if I had it constantly. Hooray for spring!

What a great shot. We are melting today. Still some snow on the ground - but was 67 today. Snowed for 36 hours starting on Friday. Now we are preparing for a barbecue tomorrow.
