An Awkward Situation

 Yikes!
"I guess we're not the only ones living here," said the newly adopted drop-offs. They immediately retreated to the safety of their temporary indoor safe space (my office).

I remember feeling like the awkward one in the room. Amazingly confident Patti, a woman with class and manners, noticed my plight. She stepped forward, with spontaneity, of a self confident woman, unaware that anyone noticed, but ever grateful am I, that others would follow her lead, and she welcomed me! She made me feel wanted. There were a handful in the room who hoped to shun me. People can be vicious and hurtful. I think it makes them feel better about themselves to stoop so low to crush me beneath their feet. Thank you Patti, for showing me favor in front of all of these unfamiliar faces.

~ A fitting Scripture from the Bible will accompany each post. ~

"...Rejoice before Him; His name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His Holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families." Psalm 68:4-6

                          Blessings, Kathi
