For Pennies You Can Make Something Stylish and Fun

I found this purse at a thrift store for .25 cents. At first I had doubts about getting it. It's green and I never spend money on a green purse because it's not a practical color. I always buy the standard brown, black or cream. I noticed it matched the top I was wearing.  I reasoned that it was only a quarter. Then I envisioned it with a few touches of animal print fabric.

As you can see I did purchase this purse. I hot glued leopard print fabric here and there as little touches.
I love the way it turned out. For .25 cents, I think it's amazingly cute. What do you think?
I love the way it looks with my outfit. I'm learning to see how something could look or how I could improve it. I encourage you to do the same. For just pennies you can have something stylish and fun.
Blessings, Kathi

Love it! You're like me in that you always like to make something your own, and also that you're very practical! I don't buy anything but the neutral colors either but your find has inspired me to branch out. Of course I probably will never find a good purse at the bargain price you did. Way to go!

Hi Kathi, I apologize for posting my comment on my other google account, it is an account I have been tinkering with, haven't decided what I am going to do with it. lol. sometimes I can be such a ninny,

You did a fantastic job with the makeover of the purse, I admire women who are gifted with their hands, and the purse certainly matched your outfit.

I LOVE your green purse. I refuse to have a practical purse. Mine is orange and too small to carry any one else's junk.

I love what you did to your purse, the added animal print is just the right touch. I see more and more animal prints out there now, at least in our area there is.

I love this! I saw it in person and it's adorable! I would have never guessed she glued the fabric on! Good job Kathi!
