Good morning!! Today I will share about my sister Sharon's annual visit to our farm. She used to come and bring all four of her boys with her, but alas, they are all either grown and married, working or involved in sports. We miss the good old days, but are enjoying a new phase in our lives, which means we get to spend time together; just the two of us. Sharon and my son Harrison share a moment together before he leaves for work driving the combine.
As Sharon and I ventured out on day one, we spotted my daughter Victoria jogging. She gladly took our photo verifying that we really do go thrifting early in the morning. Ha ha
I'm proud of Victoria for wanting to stay in shape. She is quite active.
We drove quite a ways to a little town where an antique fair was going on. We found some really special items here. Sharon found a lithographed tray and I found some blue dishes.
We couldn't help but notice cute houses. I loved this white picket fence with multitudes of flowers.
The daisy is quickly becoming my favorite flower. They are so cheerful.
Sharon thinks so too.
We took dozens of photos of darling houses. So many of our favorites had front porches.
When we pulled into the drive way that evening we saw this familiar sight. My husband and Garrett enjoying a dirt-bike ride.
The next day, yep, here we are again thrifting. Sharon nearly always finds another transfer ware piece. She's got such an eye for it. $1.99, what a deal.
We met up with my two daughters Jessica and Victoria at St. Vinnie's. I love it that they like to shop here too. I also think it's really cool that they are wearing dresses more these days. She is wearing one of the vintage dresses she bid on from EBay.
Victoria found a cute dress too. I like it that my girls want to wear dresses. They are so feminine.
Our visits together are never long enough, but I am so thankful for each one.
Blessings, Kathi

How nice that you and Sharon still get together for the special sister time. Thrifting and looking at cute houses and gardens sounds like a perfect day to me.
Is that your garden in the first photo? Sooo pretty.
