Day Two of Hauling Hay

Victoria is feeling better this afternoon, so she got up and wanted to help haul hay. We told her to take it easy and just take photos of everyone until tomorrow.
She took some pictures for me like this one of Jessica on the tractor.
And Stacey and me.
The next morning we had all of this hay to unload. Can you believe it?
Every available vehicle and trailer was put to use; including the forks on the tractor.

Here are this morning's workers: Harrison, Stacey, Victoria and Garrett. Jessica had to babysit our neighbor's little boy.

Victoria doing her fair share of the work.
Garrett salting the upper deck.
So glad for that hay elevator.

Lunch time for the crew.

 Victoria likes her lunch!
The barn in nearly full of hay. We only have a small amount left to stack for tomorrow.
Mostly done. Quiting time and time for fun around the campfire.
Our neighbor Norm dropped in to visit with us. Harrison drives a combine for him.
I love to see my children being good friends with each other.
We are so blessed to have all of this good hay for winter and to have healthy bodies to do the work ourselves. We thank God that no one got hurt and everything went smoothly. Another added blessing was that it did not rain, so the hay did not get ruined. "May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine." Genesis 27:28

I loved reading about this...Living her now in Southwest Wisconsin we get to see the farmers making hay for their livestock. I'm glad to see that Victoria is feeling better.
