I am so thankful. My husband is back from his trip safe and sound. I know I should not worry, but I did a little bit. His cell phone was dead so he could only call from pay phones and I could not reach him the last leg of his trip. He made the mistake of saying he would be home at 4;30.
When 7:00 pm rolled around and he still was not home, I began to fret and worry. I then, remembered I should be praying. So I did. I asked the kids to pray for Daddy's safe return and they did. At 7:15 he walked in the door with this big boquet of flowers. His plane had been delayed. I'm truly thankful for my husband and I know I am blessed to have him. He is so good to me and so loving and a wonderful provider. I pray for you if you have lost your husband, that God would fill your life with His comfort. If you are a single mother, I pray God will encourage you and provide for you and your children. If you have never been married, but would like to be, I pray that the Lord would bring you a husband. If you are married, I pray that God would bless your marriage. Love, Kathi "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." 1 John 4:7-8

What a sweet prayer, honey. I don't think I've ever heard one quite like it but it is powerful. Glad hubby is home safely. I understand because Jack and I have been together for almost 49 years now and we're so in tune with each other. I worry about him every time he goes out somewhere!

You are so sweet and always so sensitive to those around you. I think you included everyone in your thoughts about husbands and love tonight. I'm so glad that Stacey got home safely. Now the parties can begin! May God bless your tender heart.

Happy SITS Monday!
Glad your husband is home safe. Prayer works.
My husband travels a lot too. Last year he was stuck in an airport overnight because of snow and it almost looked like he wouldn't be home for Christmas, I prayed he would come home safely before Christmas and he did.
Hope your family has a lovely Christmas.
Here is the link to Muffin Tin Monday. The blogger gives you a theme and you create a meal for your kids.

Hi Kathi, sweetie it's good to hear to you are all back together again, just in time for Christmas. My husband travels a lot too and there have been times when he couldn't be reached, so I know that awful feeling that creeps into the mind, heart and tummy. Prayer is always the best answer, and such a comfort!
Wishing you and your beautiful family and wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
love and hugs..........
