Bedroom Make-Over

This was our bedroom before we moved into our house. It had turquoise carpet and a woven cloth type wall-paper. This house was built in 1913 so it had lots of character. The wide baseboards were so nice. The moulding around the upper wall and the solid oak doors were gems to us. The moulding near the ceiling is painted burgundy as are the fan blades, not pictured. This is how it looks now. My husband put in the hard wood floor himself. We hired someone to change the hall window into a door. We stripped off the wallpaper and painted. I bought my curtains at Ross Dress For Less. We love our new room. It's just right for us. Have a wonderful evening dear friends. "I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies." 2nd Samuel 22:4
