Sharon and I had so much fun meeting our friends Pam and Stephanie for lunch and shopping. These two ladies are just as sweet and nice as can be. We were thrilled to meet them in the big city and enjoyed our time with them so much. If you have not met Pam at My Grandkids Rock or Stephanie at Hearts of Hartmann, please visit them today. They are lovely ladies.
My sister Sharon arrived bright and early at my door. I got to ride in her new car for the first time. We enjoyed visiting along the way and anticipated meeting our blogging friends for the first time.
We went to an antique store, which I liked very much. Prices were reasonable and the selection was great. I got two cute things which I will show at the end of this post.
Pam and Stephanie with me on our first stop at this cute bakery. Pam brought each of us cute little gift bags, which I will show you at the end of this post. I would like to become more thoughtful like her and like Sharon.
Sharon and Pam. Sharon brought Pam and Stephanie these pretty primroses. I enjoyed my time with these wonderful women so much. We are all so much alike. We love love our families. We love God. We love junk stores and we love blogging. It was so much fun being with them and I look forward to more days like this with them.
Sharon found a special treasure right when she walked in the door. Now I will show mine: I found this darling doggie. I couldn't resist him. I love little porcelain dogs.
When I got home I noticed the bottom said made in occupied Japan.
I got this unique plastic hand that says, "Don't Forget." I thought it would look cool on my teacher's school desk, if and when I get a full time teaching position.
I found these empty antique seed packets, which I will soon frame for my kitchen.
I found an old yard stick, which just look interesting. I may use it to decorate in my classroom someday.
Pam was so thoughtful to give each of us gals a fun gift with all kinds of great things inside. Thank you Pam, I love everything. Thank you to Stephanie, Sharon and Pam for setting this up. I had a really nice time with all of you. "As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him." Psalm 18:30
