I'm showing my before and after bathroom project on Kelli's show and tell today. Please go over to Kelli's house to see more fun things people are showing.Remember this blue toilet? Well, since it is now history, I will share with you our pretty new bathroom.
First I will show the before photos. The drawers were spray painted like this with blue paint.
The floor was white linoleum.
We had a blue tub and this Formica marble look around it, which was nice for the 1960's, but we wanted an update.
The two blue sinks were rusty and not as shiny as they used to be. The toilet also had rust and lime stains, which were nearly impossible to remove.
Beginning our project. My husband Stacey worked so hard to get the old flooring up.
He made trip after trip up the stairs to put new sub floor down.
Night after night after working all day for his company, he'd be doing this.
Here he is painting with his hand in his pocket again. You can see the old blue inside the closet. 
Our daughters Victoria and Jessica goofing off while painting the closet. They did a really good job.
Now comes the new tile floor.
He was always while working. He did such a great job. I'm so thankful for him and how hard he works. Okay, so the next picture is our pretty new bathroom.
We are thrilled with the way it turned out. We chose soft yellow, and creamy white walls, white tile floor and antique white porcelain.
My husband did everything himself except the plumbing and electrical.
He worked very hard putting in the Wayne's coating. I'm so proud of him.
We added this antique table and chair for the girls to sit and put on their make-up.
The shower is so nice and has an antique faucet.
Our neighbor made the cabinets for us. We created this counter top and little space for a night light around the backside of the shower.
He and I hung the mirror and towel bars together. I love the swivel mirror.

Oh my goodness Kathi!!!!! It is so beautiful! You guys did a wonderful, wonderful job! When I saw the first picture I seriously thought it was a picture of out of a magazine! It looks gorgeous. I love the fixtures you chose! The make-up desk is so pretty and perfect for the window. Stacey sure worked hard on it! You are blessed to have such a hard working hubby! Your bathroom is delightful! I have a bathroom that we want to finish and yours is just what I like ~ bead board wainscotting, little hexagon tiles on the floor ~ perfect. What a great job your husband did! I am sure you all are going to really enjoy it.
Your bathroom transformation is remarkable...it's stunning! You are so very fortunate that your husband is handy and able to fix things around the house. We have to hire out for everything!
Ohhh Kathi... It's simply Beautiful... Excellent job by ALL! It must be like a dream to walk in there now... I know what you meant about the stains, etc. with the blue fixtures... our bathroom has the same blue and the same problems... ~sigh~ ... When my bathroom grows up, it wants to be just like yours!! Wow! Kathi! It's so beautiful! I love it! I tell my husband that when we remodel ours we'll use beadboard instead of tile, I really like the look. I love everything about it but most,the tile floors and I love the desk you put in for the girls. I had to stop in and I can't resist a remodel. Deb

I love how you changed it back to being more in the style of your farmhouse. It is such a talent your husband has to be able to do that kind of work himself.
I used to do Show and Tell but then started with Menu Plan Monday and haven't had time to do S&T also. Might have to get back to it. I just felt bad when I didn't have time to look at everyone else's posts.

This is a beautiful project, Kathi, everything looks absolutely wonderful and it's all so bright! I especially like the new floor with the retro tiles. DH and I have a favorite restaurant in Portland -- Jakes -- that occupies the ground floor of an historic hotel, and they have those itty bitty tiles with a mosaic border, all original and around 100 years old.

Your remodeled bathroom is just lovely. I like the idea of the antique table. We have a bathroom about the age of the one you remodeled, only substitute the blue color with a dusty pink. It's looking so old that I think in another year or so it will be back in style! LOL
