The Heavens Declare The Glory of God

Some news is just hard to take. This is our pastor Don, and his wife Carol. We've just learned that he has a tumor in his cheek. It is a cancerous tumor. This is so sad and hard for our church.

We love our pastor. He such a godly man and preaches the Word of God. He is putting his full confidence in God through this. The doctors have said the cancer is all contained and that it should be easy to take care of. We are very thankful for this.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him." Jeremiah 17:7

"The Heavens delare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."Psalm 19:1

My prayers go out to your pastor Don and his wife. I pray that they can operate and remove the whole tumor safely and that it will not metastasize to the rest of his body. God is in control and we trust Him.

Love you.......see you in a couple of hours!

Just stopping by to see what has been going on with you. Thank you for all your sweet comments as I have been down sick. I just can't seem to kick this :(. I love the pictures of your kids all having such a good time with their friends. It is so refreshing to me to see teenagers having fun in a 'decent' way! I am glad you told me about the wierd comment on my blog. I had that happen once before. I have tried to delete the comment but can't. I wonder how I can prevent these type of comments. Do you have any idea?

Oh that is so sad, but I totally commend you for finding such appropriate verses. I will keep him and his wife in my prayers and also the Dr.s to work dilligently with him. I hope I am able to know verses of scripture like that...where I could just talk to someone and then flip over to that scripture!!!
