The turkey story had me glued to the screen! lol Your kids are just so terrific too, but how could they be anything else when they have such wonderful parents to guide them?! Have a lovely weekend dear friend!
Amanda (aka Cottage Contessa)Cottage Contessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927261360426676150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-53755054187687571992009-10-03T07:08:50.551-07:002009-10-03T07:08:50.551-07:00It's hard for me, too, when my husband travels...It's hard for me, too, when my husband travels. It takes a few days to get things balanced again and just when I'm ready to sing, "I am woman, hear me roar," he's back!

I'm in awe, of you though, when it comes to the turkey...I am a city girl who hasn't come as far as you are. I still get the shivers when I touch raw turkey to prep it for cooking.

You're my newest hero!

Jan in PAJanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16508488901278114809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-81540205402536189892009-10-03T04:00:32.320-07:002009-10-03T04:00:32.320-07:00I recognize the luggage, we have the same luggage....I recognize the luggage, we have the same luggage. My husband travels a lot as well. Now that the kids are gone I sometime's have the blessing of going with him. At the moment I'm joining him at Disney World he just finished a conference here last night.
We have Turkey's in our area and often thought about killing one for Thanksgiving. But we don't own a gun.
I have plucked chickens before and know about the smell and nasty works it takes to prepare the chicken before you can cook it.
The meal you made looks great and I don't think you look like a Senior at all. I did get asked that question myself for the last several years because I was totally grey. When I dyed my hair last spring the question was not asked again.
Hope you have a lovely day.Shelldellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01909456857564077241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-33835734409518329412009-10-02T22:56:07.549-07:002009-10-02T22:56:07.549-07:00Hi Kathi,
