Thanks for th...Hi--haven't visited you in ages! Thanks for the stop by to one of my blogs! I agree that now-a-days it is often hard to get the kids outside. Then again I think it depends where you live and how old your kids are! ha! My oldest son who is 29 and lives in the Seattle area is always outside when he is not at work because he loves the mountains, and climbing and soccer. My daughter who is 30 is always outside because her 2 and 3 year old love love love the outdoors! They have a great yard with lots of things to play and imagine. ...including a tree fort--her kids climbed very very early (scares me!).However my youngest son who is 23 has to be pushed out of doors! But the military has a way of making him get out at times!nannykimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09904490730187017812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-52063525848396928242010-07-01T08:29:46.209-07:002010-07-01T08:29:46.209-07:00If I could find a way to have a tree fort at age 3...If I could find a way to have a tree fort at age 30 and get away with it, I totally would. :)Liz Harrellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08085308886362660283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-42549901739799171972010-06-28T07:01:36.005-07:002010-06-28T07:01:36.005-07:00Kathi I just wanted to say thank you and to also l...Kathi I just wanted to say thank you and to also let you know that I did receive your package of the CDS, I have already passed out three copies and the women are loving it so far....Thanks for the beautiful comment that was left on my blog about sweet little miss Kenzie...and I wish you were here to hold her too...DeNiece Barneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06343376683634758304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-3930101811129877352010-06-26T14:54:58.713-07:002010-06-26T14:54:58.713-07:00How fun for the boys to start the summer out with ...How fun for the boys to start the summer out with that neat fort. It looks to me like there are all kinds of fun adventures to be found at your place with the goats and cows. How cute they are.

I just read the posts I have missed these last few days. I am so glad to know that the 4 wheeler accident had a good outcome, although I know it had to be very frightening for all concerned.Happy@Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15748146424809856063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-80692676874546173112010-06-26T07:59:03.335-07:002010-06-26T07:59:03.335-07:00wow, i sure miss ebing a kid and having those long...wow, i sure miss ebing a kid and having those long summer days to be outside and build forts, ride horses, pick cherries!

What a great lifeyou have!Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15186503164318878838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-66054735911197710562010-06-26T05:34:52.555-07:002010-06-26T05:34:52.555-07:00Oh, I remember the tree fort on a vacant lot next ...Oh, I remember the tree fort on a vacant lot next to us at our other home that all the kids loved to play in! I have always encouraged my kids in creative play and using their imaginations. I think it helps them in all areas of life as they grow and mature. It's funny but my married daughter doesn't even have cable! She plays with her two girls and reads to them. She says that she doesn't miss it at all. She can just watch DVDs when she wants to see something. I hope you share the finished fort with us bz it does look awesome with the two levels!onlymeherehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08880378084448908090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-9012654391806915052010-06-25T16:33:49.982-07:002010-06-25T16:33:49.982-07:00Wow, that tree fort looked so cool. Mary is at the age where she just jumps at the chance to go play outside. So now that the weather is nice, we spend a lot of time out in the yard!Elenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08356506734835725327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6440197089354350362.post-24951796746452328012010-06-25T12:35:55.049-07:002010-06-25T12:35:55.049-07:00What a beautiful family you have Kathi, and some v...What a beautiful family you have Kathi, and some very sound advice. It is hard to find the balance between micromanaging our children's lives and helping them make good choices and letting them suffer from poor ones. Glad for the outside activity and fort!
