Be Inspired ~

I became so inspired during my recent sub job at the high school. I got to be the Agriculture teacher for a day.
In the above photo behinde the blonde girl you can see a table of healthy geraniums. These girls planted the seeds and transplanted them several times. They will be selling them soon for a school fund raiser. I did not know that geraniums could grow from seeds so easily. I got so excited I got myself some little plant starter kits and placed them under fluorescent lights on my laundry room counter.
Here are mine on day one:

I went with sunflower, zinnia, and hollyhocks to begin with. I got online and ordered geranium and petunia seeds as well. This is so thrilling for me. Here is day four:
I am so happy that my yard will be filled with pretty flowers this summer, all because God gave me time to plant them, the know how to do it, and the desire. I am blessed. I will show you my garden when it is in full bloom. God bless you, Kathi
"Consider the lilies how they grow: They toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will He clothe you, oh ye of little faith? Luke 12:27-28

I can't wait to see them in bloom. I've not planted flowers from seeds like that. I did plant wildflowers out by our ditches but so far not the best of luck. How fun to have your classroom in a green house :)

What a cool project! My parents have a farm/hardware store, and when I was still in school and at home, we'd plant vegetables plants from seed to sell. I'd forgotten all about that. Loved the feel of dirt in my hands, and anticipation and excitement of watching the seeds grow! Can't wait to see how your's progress... you'll have to keep us updated! :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~Rhonda

That's so exciting! I love it! I can't believe that in just four days they are sprouting. Eric planted zinnia seeds outside a week ago and we still do not have sprouts. I think next year we will start them inside. Keep us posted!
