Jessica's prom night was very exciting. Her prom week began much like mine. She had a dress, but she did not have a date. The thrilling part was that her track coach made an announcement over the intercom for her to go to the gym. She thought she was in trouble. When she walked in a group of sophomores were sitting in the bleachers with cardboard in their hands. They turned them around to reveal large letters that said, "Will you go to the prom with me?" And then a senior football player walked in named D.J. carrying a flower. She was so excited and said, "Yes!"
The night of the prom arrived. Perfume and hair spray permeated the room.
Excitement was in the air.
Jessica's younger brother Garrett, did his best to entertain the young men waiting outside.
Rose and her date Mark arrived. Time to pin on flowers.

The theme was a masquerade.
I surprised Jessica with these gloves when I found out she had been asked to the prom. She was thrilled! I will share more tomorrow. There is much more to see. I'm so thankful for God's goodness to Jessica. She was really sad one week before this night. Everyone had dates to the prom, but she did not, and it was her senior year.
