Kids Playing On Hay Bales

My husband went on a business trip back in July, so the kids and I decided to go to thrift stores and eat tacos, to avoid feeling lonesome. As we entered our drive way the kids shouted that there were giant bales of hay across the street. See the hay bales off in the distance? Most people would think nothing of them piled up so high like that. Not my kids. Oh no.
We turned into the drive-way and I heard Victoria state, "I wanna climb that," and right after her went Harrison, "Me too!" I was thinking we are home safe in our cozy home and it's getting dark. Let's just stay inside and be warm and safe. Not these adventurous kids. They headed straight out to that field. What's funny is that Victoria ran inside to put on sweats. She did not want to get all scratched up. Harrison is a guy; he did not think of that nor care. Jessica was the only one who stayed in the house. Every kid is different and that's okay. The other three Harrison, Victoria and Garrett enjoyed climbing to the top. It's a good thing they did because it was gone the next day. I'm glad they made memories and had fun together. "Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." Colossians 2:6-7

That looks like fun! It brings back memories when I was a kid. There were big hay fields behind our house and we would go play on the piled up hay bales too:)
