Winter Happenings

We had a fun and busy weekend. It started off with us going to our nephew Hayden's basketball game. They won so we were happy for them. Garrett says he would like to learn to play like his cousin.
We went to my sister Kelli's house for a gathering and potluck to see our niece Whitney before her return to college.
Ralph pretending to Knight our daughter Jessica and his son Joseph. He and Joseph went to China this past fall and brought back some really cool things. Samuel and Joseph showing their new swords from China.
Jessica and Joe having fun with the swords.
Whitney surrounded by her Aunts Sharon and Kathi, mother Kelli and Grandma Shirley. I'm so thankful for my sweet sisters, nieces and my mother. I'm very blessed.
Ralph holding on to Whitney a little longer before she has to leave. I love their cute living room.
Harrison brought Nikki to the party. She is such a sweet girl and I'm glad she could join us.
Dad and Mom being photographed by Sharon.
We also took a meal over to our neighbor's home. They have a brand new baby. He's such a cutie.
Nichole and her sweet lil' one. He's a good baby and sleeps really well too.
My sister Sharon and I met several of our high school classmates for coffee. What fun we had catching up with one another. I love these gals.
It's such a simple thing to go grocery shopping and doing it together makes it so much more fun. Sharon and I shopped after our meeting with friends. I love my sister so much.
Sharon and I stopped off at her son Mackenzie's and his wife Brittany's place after grocery shopping. We had a great visit and they showed us all that they had done to their new home. It is so nice. They turned a horrible dirty place into a lovely livable and stylish one. I'm so happy for them. Sunday we went to church together, then ate at an Indian restaurant. It was a lazy day and we all relaxed and read or played board games. The kids did their homework. After the evening meal we watched Andy Griffith. We love that show. Grandma and Garrett watched it together. We are so thankful for our home and family. God has been so good to us. I hope you all had a nice weekend. Love, Kathi "By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work." Genesis 2:2

Oh Kathi, your weekend might have been busy but it looks like it was a wonderful one too. The baby is so precious, it looks like Stacey has the touch with babies :)

Wow you did have a busy weekend! I love Andy Griffith too and own most of the seasons. The black and white ones are my favorite. I often wish for a simpler time and town like Mayberry. I do envy your beautiful relationship with Sharon. I have 5 living sisters but I don't have this type of relationship with any of them. Oh well, maybe in time. At least my kids have that with each other now so it's okay. Somehow I've missed some of your other posts so I'll stop by later and catch up!
