Someone Is Gossiping About Me

I'm stunned. Someone said some mean things about me and my family that are not true. I've got to think through these things and give them to God. He will tell me how to act. I'm so amazed and wonder what makes this woman tick. Why would she say these things? What is her motive? I will get back to you after I have pondered these things. Please pray for me to respond appropriately. The things she said really don't hurt me, but they have a way of throwing a wrench into my life and could possibly hurt someone else whom I love. Leviticus 19:16 – “Do not go about spreading slander among your people. Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord.”

Of course, I'll pray for you, but let it go, sweetpea. It isn't worth it. It will destroy you, not them. I'd never believe a bad thing about you anyway, chickee. :-)

Connie

Kathi..

Remember that the most important people in your life know the real story behind the gossip. There just are others out there who, for whatever reason, are mean spirited. I am sure you will receive the answer as to how to respond or if a response is even the best route to take!

Keep your head high knowing the truth!

Prayers are coming your way. People can be so hurtful, sometimes without meaning to be and other times out of sheer meanness. My husband quit going to church for over four years bz of a situation like this. I pray that you'll know the right way to respond that will have the best outcome for your family. You're a wonderful well respected and loved woman, remember that. :)

I'm so sorry, words hurt especially when they are not true. I've been there before and by God's grace he helped me through it.
Jesus suffered from the same thing for our benefit.
We didn't know our sin would cost so much. Yet he gave grace in the middle of it all.
I'm so thankful for his grace. I pray God will give you grace and courage to walk through this. That God will give you the spirit of forgiveness.
Remember the 23 rd of Psalms and remember the Lords prayer.
We love you

I will say a prayer that God will give you the words and wisdom on how to respond to this. I don't understand how people can be like that. I'm with Connie tho, just let it go. People like that are just not worth the time and energy.

Kath, I could never believe one single unkind thing about you. And since I don't know her motives, I can't say why a woman would say such things against a sister in Christ. But know you are soooo loved and esteemed by me as a young (not!) mom. You just absolutely ROCK, Kathi... Love, Brenna xoxo
