Jesus Is My Light At The End of the Tunnel

Sometimes the cares of this world and the trials we face just sort of bring us down. "The Bible tells me to fix my eyes on Jesus." I want to do this and let Him handle all my cares as I lay them at His feet. This has been an especially stressful year for me. I want to keep my focus on the Lord and feel His presence. Then, I want to get busy like this little bee, and do all the things I should be doing: taking care of my family, my home, and doing the best at my teaching job. So, that is what I am going to do right now. I like an old song by Chuck Girard called "Lay Your Burden Down." When I lay my burdens down at the cross of Jesus, He sees my tears and hears my cry. He comforts me as no one else could. I'd play that song for you on my player, but it is not available. Have a blessed day dear friends. I know that I will. I am looking to the Lord right now, He is the light at the end of the tunnel. Kathi

He certainly is the light at the end of the tunnel. He is the light of the world.
This reminds me of my Spiritual Sundays post today. It's a poem about the bend in the road.
Blessings,
Charlotte

Sometimes I feel the harder I try the harder it becomes. I know that life isn't supposed to be easy but most of the time I wish it were. Jesus is my Savior and the light of this world. God bless you for reminding us of that. I hope things get a little easier for you soon. Your friend, Cindy

Hi Kathi...
Your sunflower photo is just so beautiful... Thank you for sharing part of yourself, and for the sweet reminder that we all can, and should, take our burdens to the Lord... indeed, we are blessed to have such a wonderful Father that cares for us and loves us so much... I'm sorry the year has been stressful for you... Please know that you do remain close to my heart and in my prayers... I hope that this week will be filled with many blessings and joy for you...

Hi Kathi,
It has been a tough year here for us as well, I am so sorry that it has been tough for you too. I like that old hymn, and remember my grandmother singing it , and what a great message there is in it. I don't know of anyone any better to take my burden to than then the Lord, I just have a hard problem of leaving mine there and walking away my tendency tis to pick it up.
You have been one of the most sincere people I have met here in blogland and that has been a blessing to me, your desire to serve God by serving your family and friends, has spoken volumns to not only me but to others as well.May the Lord bless you as you continue to seek His will for your life.
Blessings,
Sue
