I've Been Asked to Decorate For the Women's Retreat ~ I'm Out of My Comfort Zone

I've been asked to decorate eight tables for our women's retreat. The darling ladies who asked me have no idea that this is my weakness and that I've never done anything like this before in my life. I'm scared and totally out of my comfort zone. I came home from the thrift stores with this box of copper jello molds and candle holders for $10.
I got enough pretty fabric on sale to make eight squares for the tables. Our dear missionary, Rosa will be our guest speaker. She translates the Bible in the South Pacific. I wanted to do something with her in mind.

I bought all the fake candles they had at Joanne's Fabric.
I had to remove gel from the candle holders, which came out quickly.

These scrubbed up nicely. I will show you pictures of what I've done when I get back. I actually think things are coming together. Have a lovely weekend ladies. I'm excited and will see you when I return. "Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:13

Kathi, I am so proud of you. You have done a great job. Good for you. When people tell me they aren't good at decorating or they aren't creative...I always say that ALL women are creative, and it's always fun to try something new. It is beautiful. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. xorachel
