Atmosphere in Two Minutes

This is another incredibly busy day. Everyone is going in all directions. I'm driving the big kids to school, because the other car is in the shop, running errands, and then working half a day. Before all of this activity began this morning, I got myself ready, made lunches, Garrett, my seven year old, ate breakfast, brushed teeth and got ready for school, and we had 25 minutes before having to leave. So, Garrett and I sat on the couch for Bible time and story book time.
We snuggled in a blanket. Knowing I couldn't light the fire because we'd be gone most of the day. I did this. "Wallah," atmosphere in two minutes. I just lit these four candles at the fireplace, and it was cozy and seemed almost like a fire. I got to spend 25 minutes sharing the Lord with my son, and staying close with him before he left for school. I praise and thank God for times like these. Have blessed day dear ladies. I will be visiting you soon. Hugs, Kathi

Thats neat, like I said im new to wanting to live by the Lord so for Christmas I will be getting Avery a bible she will understand and some story books, do you have any suggestions? Tonight I will be picturing the angels, thank you kathi:))) My son is almost 17, I thought about sharing my fear with him but decided not to put that burden on his shoulders. I think I will go look up scriptures on fear.

These are the moments I cherish most with my kids! We used to sit on the deck at night and watch the stars and talk but now they're off and running all the time. I miss those days. Glad you got to share this time with Garrett.
