A Nice Visit From Dad and Aunt Jo

Sunday we had such gorgeous fall weather. We had a nice treat. My Dad Leonard and my Aunt Jo, his sister came out for a visit.
We have so many apples we encouraged them to pick and take as many as they wanted. Dad used to pick bushel after bushel for us each summer. Thanks Dad.
Here is Aunt Jo getting some to make a pie. She makes prize winning pies for the fair each summer. She also bowls 152 easily. That's her average.
We enjoyed our visit and had some of my apple pie with vanilla ice-cream after picking apples.
It's hard to say good-bye, but it was time to go. This is Dad with our son Garrett. We enjoyed seeing both of you so much and hope you'll come back again soon. We love you. Kathi and all "God alone is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my Fortress, I will never be shaken." Psalm 62:2

Sorry about the spelling lesson. I actually had to dictionary.com that, but I knew it was spelled with a "W".

This was interesting. In my family I am Aunt Jo. (My middle name is Jo and I have always been called that by family.)
