Good-night Ladies, It's bedtime....

Have you ever wanted to go to sleep so badly, but had to finish something?
It was almost 10:00 and I noticed our daughter Jessica working on her home-work. She was all alone and the only one still awake. She had to define and write sentences for 12 words. I felt sorry for her having to finish this and all by herself.
As sleepy as I was I wanted to stay up and help her finish. We finally finished a few minutes ago. I enjoyed being with her and laughing at her cute sentences. Here's one: "Sullen Megan cried when her pet whale died." I'm thankful for my children. Sweet dreams dear friends. I'm going to bed. Good-night.

Spelling was my absolute worst subject in school--I remember far too well that particular assignment--My spelling is still not great--but I try and love spell check. What a wonderful mother you are to have stayed up and helped her--she will cherish that memory, I hope you know that.

No Jan, you are mistaken. I am no longer home schooling the kids. They are all in public school. This is just regular home work. Have a great day.

What a wonderful choice, putting your children first even through fatigue. What a great mom you are! Glad that you received a blessing by giving of yourself.

Unexpected moments like that are just the best. I love one on one time with my kids. I always feel closer to them when we have had time like that and have laughed together.

Have a great weekend Kathi!
