Busy Summer

We pulled up the onions.
Next, we washed them.
I followed directions for braiding onions from the Internet.
We hung them up in the barn like this. I miss all of you dear blogging friends, and we be back visiting shortly. God bless you today, Kathi

You got a gorgeous crop! I want to go and drink tea in your barn and look at them!So homey.

I have been enjoying the sweet onions from our farm CSA. I didn't get to grow any this year as we had problems keeping critters out of the garden.

Good job!

Wow, that's a lot of work. How long will they keep?

Ruth, I am not sure. They are supposed to be kept in a cool dry place, and this is Oregon. This is a new experience for me. I may fail? I am not sure. I have always chopped them and froze them. I may go out there and find mold in a few weeks. I pray that they will last all winter. We will see. Kathi
