Garden

Please visit Deena's blog Can I Be Pretty In Pink
I'm showing a few color spots from my flower gardens to support Deena's Tour For the Cure. Deena has been fighting breast cancer, and we just heard some very good news. We are continuing to pray for her complete healing, but are so very thankful for God's answer to our prayers.
My son Harrison a few years back in our berry patch.
Victoria and Garrett join him.
Blackie

The kids took pictures of themselves in fur coats, next to the lamp pole, when it was snowing, and exclaimed, "We found Narnia." I'll post those sometime.
I'm learning to prune roses. I need to get out there today.

This is near my front door. I love my bunny. The rock says, "The Lord is my Rock."
In the spring this wagon wheel and rock are surrounded by red and yellow tulips. The rock says, "He Lives."
My front patio.
This is Trudy, my neighbor. She is a cancer survivor. I'm so thankful she is healthy now and still with us. Since I am new at gardening, I'd like to show you a few pictures of her garden. Trudy has inspired me to garden.
I love to visit Trudy's garden. There are so many flowers.
Trudy uses lots of iron and stone in her garden. She puts up many twinkle lights for evening enjoyment.
Everywhere I look there is something pretty to see in Trudy's garden. Thank you for coming along with me on this garden tour. Thank you Trudy for sharing a few of your flower beds with us. They are lovely. Thank you Deena, for hosting this. Hugs and prayers, Kathi

So glad I found your blog. I have looked back over quite a few posts. I laughed at you feeling like a criminal getting your fingerprints taken. I did that two years ago when we entered the empty nest stage. I love High School kids. I had to go three times for fingerprinting and they finally gave up and checked me out some other way. My lines were filled with gaps and cracks making them unreadable. lol

The gardens are absolutely lovely. I love to garden, but have not been out much this year. I tried to entice a g-daughter to help me weed. My knees are not conducive to being down on the ground much. She was not interested, so I will have to figure another way to get it done.
Praise God for Trudy's victory over Cancer and Deena's good news. One of my daughters is a B-cancer survivor. I still get emotional when I think of the suffering she went through. She is my inspiration when I think things in my life are too much to bear.
