Garrett Did the Cutest Things......

Good morning ladies. I hope you all had a safe and fun Memorial Day. You probably remember seeing this special glass egg sitting on the table in my office. I've shown it before.
My daughter Victoria gave it to me several Mother's Days ago.
Today I found it on the floor behind the couch in Garrett's fort.
I asked him about it, and he said, "I know it's there Mom. It's supposed to be there for my fort. I keep rubber bands in it." How sweet, we will find something else to keep rubber bands in. None of you fear, the egg is safe on my table once again.
Kids keep me smiling all day. I'm thankful for the little joys that come my way. Well, I'm off to weed and plant with my kids, so you have a good day now. Hugs, Kathi

Ha Ha Ha Ha HA Ha!
My kids would have left the egg and taken the rubberbands! We have some office supply fettishes around here. It couldn't be because the mom buys herself sharpies in every color and then won't allow the children near them? Or because the mom has a fully functioning home office?
Way too cute!

Okay.....as a mother with four boys, I gotta ask.....what exactly did he need rubber bands for??? LOL???? Boys...I just LOVE them!!! What a cute story. I love the picture of you going to the garden! I love your outfit. Your yard is soooo pretty too! You are so blessed to be able to enjoy your farm every single day Kathi! My heart aches for that, but God is in control of all of that.

I love you so much!

Love, Sharon

P.S. I visited Mom & Dad today and watched 27 Dresses with Mom, it was really fun. Daddy is doing so great, he was on the roof today cleaning the gutters!

Having only a girl, I can't relate. But it sounds sweet anyway!

That is such a cute story. My son was always taking household items for his toys he loved to play police so he made holsters and radios out of anything. I am always amazed at their imaginations. As we get older somehow we seem to stifle that free thinking.
