Spring Break: Thrifting With Cousins

Hello dear sweet blogging friends. I'm back! I've missed you, but I've enjoyed my time with my family. I will be visiting your blogs as time permits to see what you've been up to. We didn't do all that I planned, but we certainly did a lot.
It began with the best of all blessings ~ my wonderful husband came home from a business trip to Singapore. I'm so happy to have him home and very thankful to the Lord.
What spring break would be complete without a trip to Goodwill with Aunt Sharon and the cousins?
I'm a mom on a mission and that is to beat Sharon to the Goodwill, so as, to get there first, and get to those bargains before she does. Ha Notice the hole in Garrett's jeans. I found two pairs of perfect jeans for Garrett this day at the junk store I will be showing you.

Garrett looks scared, maybe I'm driving too fast! Not really.
Here is my dear sissy, Sharon digging through the wonderful junk. Notice the wooden spoon "tool" she is using to dig.
You never know what you might find. Here are Victoria, Garrett, and Jessica digging for gold.
I allow the kids to fill the cart and then we look things over and decide. They weigh the stuff by the pound. The Easter baskets are brand new. I'm planning to spray paint them red, green, or gold for Christmas goodies I give to neighbors.
Sharon spotted this before I did. It's so cute. It looks like it might be from the 1940's
Hayden rode with us to get a snack at a really cute hamburger place. It's from the 1950's

They had wonderful food.
Just look at that!!! and she ate the whole thing!!!
This hamburger was huge! I ate half and shared with the kids.
This was a fun fun day with my sister and my nephews and children.
This is so cute the way they put the car up there in the air. I'm so thankful for these times together with family. This was only one of our spring break days. I will probably post more days. Thanks for viewing. I hope you have a happy Monday.

"...always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:20

Oh Kathi, that was such a fun, fun day! Can you believe we used to be so secretive about our thrift shopping in fear that people wouldn't understand, and now we are broadcasting it all across the internet! Too funny! I'm so happy that Stacey made it home safe and that you had a good week off with your children!

I love you so much!

Great photos.

Hello!
I am in the process of researching for a book I would like to write that addresses ten struggles that Christian women face. I would love to have your input as well.

Thank you for any help you can give me. All I need is the list of ten things as well as your age. Thank you!

Wow, that is what I call some large servings of food!!! I am a bit envious of your Goodwill store; ours doesn't compare!
