Chile Con Queso Dip




Recipe:
1 can of RO * TEL (can be found at many stores. I found mine at Wal*Mart) in the Mexican foods or the tomatoes. For those not familiar, this is Ro-Tel a mixture of green chiles and tomatoes.
16 ounces of Velveeta
2 T. sour cream
Blend Ro-Tel and Velveeta cheese and heat carefully on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Stir regularly until melted.
Place in a bowl and stir in the sour cream. Serve with chips. You and your family will be delighted!! This is so good.
My friend Marcia, the pharmicist in North Houston, who was also my next door neighbror, told me about it. We used to cook together in the evenings. We were both pregnant in this picture.
She taught me so much about cooking. I wish I could find her again. I've lost track of her.
I hope you enjoy this excellent dip. We had it for Super Bowl Sunday.
