Green Beans







When canning green beans a pressure canner must be used rather than a water bath canner. It is extremely important to watch the pressure on the pressure canner at all times. If the pressure drops below the correct amount for green beans, the timer must be re-set. One way that has been helpful for me is to sit right in front of the canner watching it the whole 20 or so minutes that it takes.
